It is mandatory for the winning players to attend the prize ceremony to collect the winner, which will be on Tuesday 20-08-2025 after the end of the last round. Prizes are not distributed or accumulated among those tied on points. It will not be possible to accumulate a prize from the general classification and one from the stage, nor two trophies. If a player has two incompatible matches, the tournament management will assign him the one with the highest economic value and if they are of the same economic value, he will assign the one of the general classifications. To determine the prizes of the brackets, FIDE or Catalan rating will be used if you do not have it.

The prizes will be paid deducting the current legal withholding, presenting the identification documentation of each person: NIF, passport or similar.

  1. The time to declare a game lost due to no-show will be one hour from the official start time of the tournament. The participants will transfer their image rights to the Organization and/or third parties for the dissemination of the chess open, the results of the tournament and the promotion of the game of chess.
  2. Players who do not show up without just cause to a single round, or two in the following rounds without justification, will be eliminated from the open. The rest requested by the players will be scored with 0 points, being able to request a maximum of two, (the third rest will mean the withdrawal from the tournament).
  3. To decide the final standings, ties on points will be resolved by the following tiebreakers (with the Fide Adjustment of a virtual player): Bucholz -1, Bucholz medium and the total Bucholz. Once the last round of the tournament is over, the order of the first three tiebreaks will be drawn. If the tie persists, the particular result will be applied. Ultimately, there will be solved by lottery.
  4. The score sheets are the property of the organization. It is forbidden to smoke in the playing hall, also electronic cigarettes, as well as to make use of mobile phones and other electronic devices likely to help players, applying the FIDE regulations regarding this situation.
